Public Lab Mongolia
HELLO!
Public Lab Mongolia (PLM) is a nonprofit organization working at the intersection of environmental and public health challenges, community participation, and open data. Through citizen science, participatory mapping, and hands-on learning, we help communities understand local challenges and develop practical solutions. Our work promotes climate resilience, inclusive participation, and evidence-based decision-making.

What we do
1. Community Research & Citizen Science
We work with communities to investigate environmental and public health challenges, combining local knowledge with hands-on research.
2. Open Data & Mapping
We turn data into accessible maps and visual stories that help people understand their surroundings and inform decisions.
3. Locally Led Climate Action
We co-design and test practical solutions with communities—from rainwater harvesting to pocket gardens—to build resilience to climate risks.
4. Learning & Participation
We equip young people and community members with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to take part in shaping a healthier, more inclusive environment.
